Winter Book Study begins January 19th

Posted by: Sandy Forrest on Mon, Jan 4, 2010

Pastor Paul will be leading a book study at 3:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. using "The Witness of Combines" by Kent Meyers

One of Pastor Paul’s very favorite books is “The Witness of Combines,” by Kent Meyers.  Meyers has written a series of short stories from growing up on a farm in Southern Minnesota, and his reflections on life since. He touches the reader with his insights on living in family, on coping with tragedy, and finally, meaning in life. This was the favorite book of a Pastor’s book group that Pastor Paul took part in some years ago. The book study will have afternoon and evening sessions on Tuesdays, beginning the 19th of January, at 3:00 p.m., and 7:00 p.m.  Both will meet in the Moen Conference Room.

The Witness of Combines” is available from Amazon.com, Discountbooksale.com, University of Minnesota Press, and several local bookstores.

Join us for a good winter read!
