Children's Ministry at Glen Cary
The core of our children's ministry is Family Worship, which meets on Sunday mornings during the school year at 9:45 a.m. in the sanctuary. This family-oriented service is a half-hour in length and contains all the main elements of Lutheran worship in creative and interactive ways. Holy Communion is celebrated on the 2nd and 4th Sundays of the month. All ages are welcome!
Worship is followed by a half hour of classroom and fellowship time for children ages three through fourth grade. There are also special events during the year including:

- Faith Friends: Kids are paired with adult mentors from the congregation. They meet during the year to share a meal, worship, and do activities together.
- Service Projects: Families live out their faith in service to our neighbors in the world. Past projects have included assembling newborn kits for Global Health Ministries; making cards and care packages for our guests from Family Promise of Anoka County; making gifts for our homebound members; and more!
- Christmas Program and Party: The weekend before Christmas we celebrate together and share the Christmas story with the congregation in a special worship service.
