You are a child of God.

You are loved.
You are forgiven.
You belong.

These are the promises of God that we receive in the Sacrament of Holy Baptism, one of two sacraments in the Lutheran tradition.

In the waters of baptism, the grace of God spills into our world. We hear God's word of forgiveness and salvation; we die to sin, and are raised to new life in Christ. Claimed in baptism, we are called to lives of love, peace, and righteousness.

People of all ages are welcome to receive the gift of baptism. In the Lutheran tradition, children are typically baptized as infants. This affirms that, from the very beginning of our lives, we are loved by God and supported by the community of faith. This is pure gift from God, and does not depend on our ability to earn it or understand it.

To schedule a baptism for yourself or your child, please contact the church office at 763-434-5695.
