A Message from the Call Committee
Thank you to everyone who completed our survey. We greatly appreciated your feedback to help identify our church's needs and priorities as we work through the process of finding a Senior Pastor. We received 90 responses and used that information to complete our Ministry Site Profile (MSP). On Tuesday, Oct. 25 Council approved the final draft of our MSP, it was submitted to the ELCA on Wednesday, Oct. 26. A summary of our MSP is available to view and download below.
Bishop Ann Svennungsen joined us on Wednesday, Nov. 2 during our 6:30 p.m. service. Since then she has approved our completed MSP. This is a summary of Glen Cary’s MSP, The ELCA’s questions are noted in italics, our committee’s responses are below. This information will be used by future candidates when inquiring or applying for our Senior Pastor position with the ELCA.
What is the Ministry Site Profile? According to the ELCA, The Ministry Site Profile form (MSP) provides congregations and church-related organizations a single, common form to use to describe their mission and their search for a rostered minister. Once complete, this form is submitted electronically to our synod bishop for review and then posted to the "ministry opportunities" listing on the ELCA’s website.
