Pastor Denny, returning from his summer break, will be our worship leader and preacher. The Scripture texts from Deuteronomy 30:15-20, Philemon 1-21, and Luke 14:25-33 all deal with facing a challenging future by both depending on God and using our God-given gifts in planning for what is to come. On this Labor Day weekend, Becky Palmgen will be the music leader at the 9:00 worship service and share an offertory, also. The Glen Cary Worship Band will do the same at the 10:30 service.
